How it works
Register on our platform here.
After a successful registration, your account will be under review. One of our privacy experts will get in touch with you within 24 hours to let you know when your account is live.
Once our privacy experts have finished analysing your profile, you will receive a confirmation email that your account is live.
In the confirmation email you will find your personalised link to your Dashboard. We recommend saving this link to your Bookmarks or add it to your Home Screen.
In order for you to access your Dashboard, you will need to log in into FindMyData, open your personalised link in a new tab, and add your unique password.
After a successful registration on FindMyData, you will have access to our platform for free for 30 days. In these 30 days you can send a request to one organisation of your choice.
In your Dashboard, you will be able to confirm your identity. This will help us confirm and ensure that we send the personal data to its owner.
Please note that we cannot operate on your behalf if you do not confirm your identity.
From your Dashboard, you will have a tab called "Activate full account". From there you will be able to choose from our 2 subscription options: Monthly or Annual.
From your Dashboard you will be able to choose from our popular companies, or complete the form and tell us the name of the company you are interested in. This way you will have access to over 40,000 global organisations.
Once you have selected your first company, you will receive a Letter of Authority to sign. This will enable us to act on your behalf when contacting the companies you've chosen.
From your Dashboard, you will also be able to protect your child's personal information. You can search from one of the popular companies and industries or complete the form and tell us the name of the company you are interested in.
Once you see what a company knows about you and what it does with your data, you can decide what to do with your information. You will be presented with 3 options:
- Delete your data: you can ask any organisation to delete any information about you from their system
- Restrict: you can ask the company to stop processing your data for marketing purposes, or stop them from sharing or selling your data
- Move: you can move your data from one company to another.

Yes. We will act on your behalf and send personalised requests to any company you choose. In order for us to do this and ensure that the companies provide the data to its holder, we need to make sure you are the person you say you are.
We can confirm your identity through a copy of your driving licence/passport and a recent bank statement/utility bill. We only need to check your name and address. All the documents you provide will automatically be deleted from our system after 30 days or after the request/s is completed.
Short answer, no. But there are exceptions, and we are required to share these documents with Credit Reference agencies, Banks, GPs, Government, as they also require further ID confirmation
Yes. You can choose any organisation like a private company, app, hospital, GP, government or the police. It is your right to see a copy of your data from any organisation you choose.
